Tan Eng Gooi
Tan Eng Gooi, a Malaysian aged 37 is our Independent Non-Executive Director. He was appointed to our Board on 18 August 2025.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland in 2010.
Upon graduation, he began his career in corporate finance at Kenanga Investment Bank and subsequently at RHB Investment Bank Berhad. He then transitioned into in-house corporate finance roles at Red Sena Berhad (a former SPAC listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities) and PUC (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PUC Berhad.
With over 14 years of experience in corporate finance across investment banks and public listed companies, he currently serves as Head of Corporate Finance at Honsin Apparel Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Techbase Industries Berhad (formerly known as Prolexus Berhad).
He leads and manages a wide range of corporate finance exercises including equity fundraising as well as acquisitions and disposals. His role also involved reviewing the company’s public disclosures and submissions to Bursa Securities, preparing board materials as well as ensuring alignment between corporate initiatives and regulatory compliance.
