Incorporation and History
MM Computer Systems Berhad (MMCS) is an IT solutions provider based in Malaysia. We are principally involved in the design, implementation and configuration of IT solutions, provision of IT outsourcing services, as well as sales and leasing of IT hardware and software.
MMCS was incorporated in Malaysia on 3 September 2019 under the Companies Act 1965 as a private limited company under the name of Joycloud Sdn Bhd. On 24 October 2023, we underwent a change in name to MM Computer Systems Sdn Bhd. Our Company was converted to a public limited company and assumed the name of MM Computer Systems Berhad on 14 August 2025. Our Company is an investment holding company.
Through our Subsidiaries, our Group is principally involved in the design, implementation and configuration of IT solutions, provision of IT outsourcing services, as well as sales and leasing of IT hardware and software.
Our Group’s history dates back to 2003 when MTS was founded by Young Yoong Chang and Lee Choon Weng. MTS commenced operations in the same year from a rented shoplot in Endah Parade, Kuala Lumpur, and secured its first sale of IT hardware and software to an enterprise/corporation where it sold servers to the said customer.
Also in 2015, Young Yoong Chang, Lee Choon Weng and Quah Soo Keat acquired and subscribed shares in SMIND. SMIND was thus set up with the intention to provide knowledge process outsourcing services which involve project management support for the implementation of IT solutions, as an extension to MTS’ existing IT outsourcing service offering.
SMIND initially operated out of our headquarters at Sungai Besi, and moved to its present office at Cyberjaya in 2020. SMIND was awarded a Malaysia Digital Status (formerly known as MSC Malaysia Status) by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) in 2016. In the same year, SMIND secured its first technical support services project involving knowledge process outsourcing for project management of IT solution implementation to a Reseller.Why Us
